Mercy/SBU College of Nursing student
wins award
BOLIVAR, Mo. — A student in the Mercy College of Nursing and Health Sciences of
Southwest Baptist University was named the 2013 Nursing Student of the Year at
the fifth annual Salute to Nurses awards lunch.
Chrystalbelle Rogers of Ozark
is a nursing student and also works as a nurse manager in the Mercy Burn and
Wound Outpatient Clinic in Springfield.
The award winner was
determined by the Missouri State Board of Nursing based on essays submitted by
students. Rogers received a check for $1,500 from Salute to Nurses for her
award.
